Privacy

Private by design.

Your shortcuts are stored on your device. Nothing from your pages leaves it unless you set up a step that sends it.

What Chrome will ask you

  1. “Read and change all your data on all websites”

    To find the button a key clicks or the field it types into. BumbleTap doesn’t send page content anywhere.

  2. “Read your browsing history”

    Chrome’s wording for seeing the tab’s address, so the right keys load. No history is kept.

  3. “Read data you copy and paste”

    Only to fill in {{clipboard}} where you’ve used it.

One extra switch, only for code. Your own JavaScript needs Allow User Scripts, under BumbleTap’s Details in chrome://extensions. Everything else works without it.
